We offer a free trial as part of an initial Contact lens assessment. This means you can try before you commit to buying the lenses. Our Optometrists keep up to date with the latest available contact lenses and so are best placed to advise you on what will best suit your needs.

Contact lens wearers are required to have an up to date Eye Examination and Contact lens prescriptions are usually valid for 1 year.

Contact lens Types Explained

Daily Disposable Contact lenses

Daily Disposable Contact lenses correct long and short sightedness and also Astigmatism prescriptions. They are the most convenient way of wearing Contact lenses. As you use a new lens each day they also have the lowest risk of infection and so are great for full or part time wearers and also for Children.

Reusable Contact Lenses

Reusable Contact lenses also correct long and short sightedness and also Astigmatism prescriptions. They are for daily wear, but rather than disposing of them at the end of the day, they are stored in sterile solution in a case until they are worn again. We supply 1 month or 2 weekly lenses and once opened they are used within that time. They are ideal if you are looking for the most economical lenses.

Multifocal Contact Lenses

Multifocal Contact Lenses are designed for patients who need to see both Close up and Far away, and are especially useful for those who wear varifocal glasses. Depending on your prescription Multifocal lenses are available in both daily disposable and reusable style Lenses.
